How to access the Thermal Baths

With the assistance of the National Health Service

by presenting the prescription (drawn up on the S.S.N.’s prescription book) of your primary care physician, a pediatrician or a specialist (ASL). 

The medical prescription must indicate the thermal treatment to be carried out with the corresponding diagnosis, according to the terms of the D.M. of 15/12/1994 and, following those that are the current regulations on tickets and exemptions, the exemption code must be written on the prescription by the prescribing doctor (National and not Regional exemption code). 

Ticket cost for not exempt people: € 45,00  | Ticket cost for exempt people: € 3,10  | Ticket cost for totally exempt people: € 00,00

Private: by paying for the treatment cycle.

TREATMENTS AGREED BY NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE (WITH THE PRESCRIPTION OF THE ATTENDING PHYSICIAN)

The Antonimina-Locri Thermal Baths are accredited by the National Health Service (SSN) and can be accessed on the simple request of the attending physician, a pediatrician or a specialist only for the following treatments with the following code to be entered on each medical prescription:

The National Health Service only provides one cycle of treatments per year, except for protected categories, which may benefit from a second cycle of treatments which have to be different from the first (art. 57 c.3,I n. 833/78; art. 13 c. 6 of D.L. n. 463/93).

How to access the thermal treatments in agreement with the SSN (National Health Service)

  • Exempt for medical reasons

Subjects suffering from chronic and disabling pathologies, referred to in the D.M. 329/99 and subsequent amendments and additions limited to the performance related to the pathology (from 001 to 0nn);

Subjects suffering from pathologies listed in the D.M. 279/01 (from RAannn to RQannn);

The people referred to in the previous points will be able to benefit from this facilitation if they hold the appropriate exemption card.

  • Exempt by categories

War invalids under exemption codes G01 and G02;

Invalids from work covered by the exemption code L01;

Invalids from work covered by exemption code L02 (subject to payment of a fixed fee of € 3.10 per prescription);

Invalids from work covered by the exemption codes L03 limited to the services related to the pathology and required to pay a fixed fee of € 3.10 per prescription;

Invalids from work covered by the exemption code L04 limited to the services related to the pathology;

Invalids from service under exemption code S01;

Invalids from service under exemption code S02 (Subject to payment of a fixed fee of € 3.10 per prescription);

Invalids from service under the exemption codes S03 and S04 limited to the services related to the pathology and required to pay a fixed fee of € 3.10 per prescription;

Civil invalids under exemption codes C01, C02 and C04;

Civil invalids under exemption code C03 (Subject to the payment of a fixed fee of € 3.10 per prescription);

The blind and deaf people covered by the exemption codes C05 and C06;

People affected by compulsory vaccination, transfusion and administration of blood products covered by the exemption code N01;

Victims of terrorism and organised crime covered by exemption codes V01 and V02;

Subjects who enjoy special protection (ex D.M. of 10/09/98 (state of pregnancy) codes M00 from M01 to M41 – M99 M50 M52;

Individuals who must perform services related to the donation activity or because at risk of HIV infection D.Lgs. 124/98 code T01 and B01;

Prisoners and internees (F01)

Amendment to the regulation of participation in health care expenses, for income reasons, with adaptation to national legislation (law 537/1993)

The persons entitled to income tax exemption must belong to the following categories:

E01: children younger than 6 years old or people older than 65 years old with family income lower than 36,151.98 euros (ex art. 8 paragraph 16 of L. 537/1993); therefore, persons aged between 6 and 65 years old are not entitled to exemption even if they are part of the same household).

E02: unemployed and their dependant families – with family income lower than 8,263.31 euros, increased to 11,362.05 euros in the presence of the spouse and due to 516 additional euros for each dependent child (ex art. 8 paragraph 16 of L. 537/1993).

E03: social security (former pension) beneficiaries – and their dependant families (Article 8, paragraph 16 of L. 537/1993)

E04: minimum pension holders, older than 60 years old – and their dependant families – with family income lower than 8,263.31 euros, increased to 11,362.05 euros in the presence of the spouse and due to 516 additional euros for each dependent child (ex art. 8, paragraph 16 of L. 537/1993)

The participation fee for non-exempt subjects is €. 45.00. Categories L02 L03 S02 S03 S04 C03 are required to pay a fixed fee of 3.10 € per recipe.

  • Protected categories

The protected c.d. categories (ex art.57 paragraph 3 l.n.833/78 and art.13 c.6 D.L. n.463/83, as amended by the law of conversion L.n.638/83) may benefit, during the year, from a further specific cycle of care. 

This category includes: disabled by war and service, blind people, deaf-mutes, disabled civilians with more than two thirds of the disability, disabled people from work. 

If two different treatments are carried out simultaneously, they must be prescribed by the doctor on two different prescriptions on which the code of disability must be written. All those who undergo treatments are required to declare, on the back of the prescription proposed, under their own responsibility that, in the current calendar year, they have not benefited from another cycle of specific care, with charges borne by the National Health Service.

THE PROCEDURES FOR CERTIFYING THE RIGHT TO EXEMPTION

The right to exemption for income or pathology from payment of the ticket must be indicated by the doctor in the appropriate space on the prescription and cannot be certified at the time of acceptance of the patient.
